An initial consultation will examine all the factors - past medical history, family history, body functioning, current diet & lifestyle that may have contributed to your weight problems. Using the latest technology equipment in Body Composition Analysis, a non-invasive scan of your body is carried out. This assessment will give you an accurate analysis of the composition of your body including:
Total body weight, fat mass, muscle mass, bone mass, hydration levels, basal metabolic rate, calorific needs, metabolic age, BMI and visceral fat levels to determine current health status as well as the level of risk for chronic illnesses associated with excess weight.
Based on this information a nutritional programme tailored for you to successfully reach your target weight is devised. It is recommended that you attend the clinic every 2 weeks to track body fat loss and revise nutritional programme when required. A maintenance plan is available once ideal weight is reached to ensure you remain healthy and full of energy.
Fortnightly weigh-in & assessment (15mins)
Food Intolerance Testing (45mins)
Food Intolerances are unpleasant reactions to foods. In some people these reactions can cause distressing symptoms and ill-health such as bloating after meals, tiredness all the time, difficulty sleeping, itchy skin (eczema), poor weight control, headaches, poor digestion, feeling down or anxious and much more. This food intolerance test uses a pin-prick blood sample to detect raised IgG antibodies which are produced by the body when there is a food intolerance. 46 of the most problematic everyday foods including gluten, wheat, cows milk, egg, yeast, fish, beans, nuts to name a few are tested for IgG reactions in your blood sample during this test. Devised by the Cambridge Nutritional Science Laboratories (UK) this test offers accurate and reliable results delivered to you within 24 hours of testing. Once a trigger food has been identified you can simply change your diet and relieve the unpleasant symptoms that you may have been suffering for years.
